Tuition and Fees

Below is the tuition and fees for Summer 2025.

This table shows the per-credit rate for each school. For example, if you are taking a 3-credit SAS course, you would pick the column that represents your resident status and multiply it by 3 to get your estimated tuition.

Student Fee

All students are required to pay the one-time student fee in order to support student enhancement programs, services, and facilities, which complement and support the academic experience.

Payment Deadlines

Payment for registered courses must be made by the start date of the earliest course. For example, students registered for both sessions must pay the entire term bill or sign up for a payment plan by the start of the first class.

Payment Plans

Rutgers Tuition Payment Plans are available for Summer Scholars students to spread payment of tuition over a number of payments. Students must be enrolled by payment plan deadlines, more information can be found here.
